hello 100! here's "the best of" what's gone on since day 50:

best of 50/365

so i'm 50 days in to my 365 project today. woohoo. it's definitely been challenging on days, i won't lie, but i'm sure you can tell which days i was feeling creative apart from those i was feeling exhausted and uninspired. here are a few of my favorites so far:

50 down, 315 to go. should be along and interesting ride. stay tuned.

day 1/365

so i'm attempting to do another 365 project.. my last attempt failed after day 63. it sounds easy to take one photo a day, but it's amazing how uninspired you can feel on days or how uninterested you can be, or how quickly you run out of ideas. not to mention working full time and trying to have somewhat of a life. anyway, i really want it to work this time! don't let me give up!

depending on how it goes, and how busy my days get, i'm thinking i may only post them here every few days, or weekly. we'll see. they'll be up on flickr every day tho, so here's a link to my flickr page if you are interested in following it.

day 1/365: new boots

i've had my eyes on these bad boys for a few years now, but could never bring myself to spend big money on rubber rain boots. so, i promised myself that if i got any money from my students for christmas this year, i would splurge. turns out i did pretty well in the gift department. after days of trying to track down a pair in the color and size i wanted, i finally succeeded yesterday. i am so in love with them! they're so comfy and warm and cute. i can't stop thinking about all of the other fun colors they make. i hope this doesn't turn into a problem. thanks for the new boots derek!
